Newroz message from Talabani: Let's achieve lasting peace

NEWS CENTER - "Let us join hands for a lasting peace and work for the victory of Kurdistan" said PUK Chair Bafel Jalal Talabani in his message to Amed Newroz. 
 
Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafel Jalal Talabani sent a congratulatory message to Amed (Diyarbakır) Newroz.
 
Talabani's message reads: "On the occasion of the Kurdish Newroz and the Kurdish New Year, which coincides with the resistance in Kirkuk, the Jerusalem of Kurdistan, I extend my warmest congratulations to the dear people of Kurdistan and wish everyone peace, tranquility and happiness. Newroz is a message of renewal, unity, partnership and brotherhood for the freedom and independence of the Kurds. I wish that this Newroz will be an occasion for peace, organization and support for the Kurdish cause everywhere. The Kurdish people are a people with an honourable life, let us join hands for a lasting peace, let us work for the victory of Kurdistan. May you Newroz be blessed, happy and honourable."
