HDP Co-Chair Mithat Sancar stated that that the curfew announced as part of combat against the coronavirus pandemic is contrary to the Constitution and said: “The Minister of Interior should be dismissed. He must fulfill the responsibility of his mistake. If he does not resign, he should be dismissed"
Offering 12 suggestions for the measures to be taken against coronavirus, HDP stated that the society in Turkey are almost abondened to their fate and left alone with the virus thread. HDP also stated Turkey is not transperent regarding the sharing of information.
At the eighth congress of the PYD in Rimelan, Northern Syria, the political program and amendments to the statutes were adopted. Ayşe Hiso and Enver Muslim were elected as co-chairs of the party.

Following the voting at the HDP Congress, Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar were elected as the new Co- Chairs of HDP.

Speaking at the 4th Ordinary Congress of HDP, HDK Co-Spokesperson Sedat Şenoğlu emphasized that the peoples have come together in the congress and stressed that they are standing tall because they are standing together. DTK Co-Chair Berdan Öztürk said: "The problems can only be solved when the isolation is removed. Mr. Öcalan is the only solution."
HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan, calling on to all political parties for alliance, except AKP and MHP at the 4th Ordinary Congress of her party, said: "Not just the cities, we are coming to rule this country, and we will rule this country."
HDP Co-Chair Sezai Temelli, who will hand over the office to Mithat Sancar, said: "I was Sezai Temelli on this road that we started two years ago, thanks to you, I became Heval (Comrade) Sezai. I will continue to be at the service of this honorable and proud people."

Calling for a joint struggle for the freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, TJA stated that the aggravated isolation imposed upon Öcalan is the prevention against the pursuit of rights and freedom of women, the struggle, the organization and the democracy.
