Ali Babacan, Chair of the DEVA Party met with the Imrali Delegation and stated that the biggest shortcoming of the process was the President's failure to inform the public, adding that they expected him to contribute to enlightening society. The Imrali delegation said: "Legal regulations must be made in a way that contributes to the peace process."

Noting that the commission members returned from Imrali convinced Gulistan Kilic Kocyigit from DEM Party said: “While stating there is an agreement with the state, Ocalan also said that the fundamental pursuit today is a political agreement and that when this political agreement is achieved, many things can actually be overcome.”
The Parliamentary Presidency announced that the 19th meeting of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission will be held on 4 December.
Turkish Workers Party (TIP), which submitted a petition to the Parliamentary Commission, requested that the minutes of the commission's meeting with Abdullah Ocalan be shared with the public.
While the Commission's 18th meeting was taking place, the Republican People's Party (CHP) walked out of the meeting room.
CHP Deputy Group Chair Murat Emir announced that the CHP will not send a representative to İmralı.
Speaking at the commission meeting where the Imralı visit was to be discussed and put to a vote, Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus stated that they had listened to different circles in Turkey during 17 meetings.
Stating that the commission will decide on the visit and that the Republican People's Party (CHP) should also be included, Turkish Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Vice chair Feti Yıldız said: "I will go from our party."
Numan Kurtulmuş met with the coordinators of political parties prior to the commission meeting where the Imralı visit would be decided.
The CHP will announce its decision regarding the Imrali visit tomorrow after discussions with the Central Executive Board (MYK).
Evaluating the withdrawal of guerrilla forces of the Kurdish Freedom Movement from Zap, Mehmet Kamaç, Co-Spokesperson of the Democratic Unity Initiative, said the state must take steps just as the Kurdish Freedom Movement has, and must ensure the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan.
Speaking at the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission’s 17th meeting, Numan Kurtulmuş said: “Our work will be completed not with an ordinary report, but with a valuable note recorded in history. This time, we will win together.”
Political scientist Levent Köker stated that Bahçeli's statement on İmralı was an indication that he supported the process, saying, “There is now a strong expectation that the commission will visit İmralı with a delegation to make direct contact with Öcalan, and that this should be done as soon as possible.”
Turkish Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Leader Devlet Bahçeli, speaking at his party’s parliamentary group meeting stated: “The commission has now entered its final stretch, and delaying a visit to İmralı makes no sense! If no one is willing to go, I will take three of my colleagues with me, I would not hesitate to go to İmralı.”
