ANKARA- Journalist Huseyin Aykol, who underwent two operations and was intubated after suffering two brain haemorrhages, is expected to be woken up during the day to check his reflexes.
Journalist-writer Hüseyin Aykol had a cerebral haemorrhage on the 14th of October and then had a second cerebral haemorrhage in the hospital where he was hospitalised. Aykol continues to be treated in the intensive care unit after 2 surgeries. Aykol, was intubated in the intensive care unit of Sincan Training and Research Hospital and left the 4th day of his treatment behind. It was stated that Aykol will be woken up during the day and his reflexes will be checked.
Visits to the hospital continue. Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Izmir MP Burcugul Cubuk, and Dicle Fırat Journalists' Association (DFG) Co-chairs Kesira Onel and Selman Cicek and DFG members visited Aykol.
