"Kurdish Revival" documentary, prepared by Şehîd Gülistan Tara Documentary Commune, started broadcasting on its own website. Since its launch, the documentary series has faced repression and blocking by Turkey and its YouTube account was blocked for "violating the policies of a violent criminal organisation".
The series-documentary, which continued to meet with its followers on Telegram channel after the blocking, will now meet the audience with its own website. The series-documentary, which was broadcast on Sterk TV on Wednesday and Medya Haber TV on Friday, can now be watched and downloaded from telegram (https://t.me/taradokumanter) and website (www.kominatara.com).
The 9th episode of the documentary, whose 8 episodes broadcast so far have been met with great interest, will soon be on the screens. This episode, to be broadcast under the title "Martyrdom", will focus on the mobilisation of Necati Kaya (Pilot) against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the revolutionaries Fevzi Aslansoy, Ali Doğan Yıldırım and Aydın Gül who lost their lives. The personalities of these revolutionaries, their struggle stance, their deaths, their funeral ceremonies and the subsequent confrontation with left-chauvinist Turkish forces and reformist nationalist Kurdish groups will be analysed.
