ŞIRNEX - Şırnak Governorate once again banned access to 11 regions for 15 days.
Şırnak Governorate banned entry to 11 regions on the grounds of "temporary special security". The banned areas include the Gabar, Cudî mountains and Besta region bordering Şırnak centre and Cizîr (Cizre), Silopiya (Silopi), Basa (Güçlükonak), Qileban (Uludere) and Elkê (Beytüşşebap) districts. The ban will continue until 9 April. The regions in question have been banned on similar grounds for many years.
The banned areas are as follows: Besta, Gabar, Cudî, Kurt Mountain, Kela Memê, Dönmezler, Kovankaya, Textêreş, İncebel Mountains, Altındağları and Oymakaya Region.
