The vigil in front of the municipality against the sentence of 3 years and 9 months to Abdullah Zeydan, Co-mayor of Wan (Van) Metropolitan Municipality under the rule Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM) administration, continued on its 4th day. Citizens continued the vigil in front of the municipality despite the cold weather and heavy snowfall. Some of the citizends lit a fire outside and danced halay. Others continued their vigil on chair insie the municipality. DEM Party regional MPs and co-mayors of the municipality also took part in the vigil. 

 

The activists did not leave the vigil are throughout the night. Municipality teams offered tea and soup to the citizens during the vigil in the morning. 

 

The vigil will continue today with various activities. The programme of the Metropolitan Municipality during the day is as follows:

* City Council components will meet at a hotel in the city with the participation of Co-mayor Neslihan Şedal and Abdullah Zeydan (15.00)

 

* Local artists will perform (15.00-17.00)

 

* Arhat music group will perform (19.00)

 

* Stand-up (21.00)
