ANKARA - Tele1 Ankara Representative İsmail Dükel and Müyesser Yıldız from Oda TV were detained.
 
During a police operation conducted in Ankara early this morning, ele1 Ankara Representative İsmail Dükel and Müyesser Yıldız from Oda TV were detained during the police raids on their homes. Tele1 Editor in Chief Merdan Yanardağ announced the detention of Dükel from social media as follows: "Our friend, TELE 1 Ankara Representative İsmail Dükel was detained this morning at 07.30. The reason for his detention is unknown. The prosecution said he will be under custody for 4 days. To detain a journalist that will go to the prosecutor's office and give his statement like that is unacceptable in a democracy."
