ANKARA - The father of Barış Çakan, who was stabbed in the heart to death because he was listening Kurdish music, told that "But there was music" as he was prompted to give a speech for "azan" claim and he was warned about "propaganda".
Stabbed in the heart to death in the Etimesgut district of Ankara because he was listening Kurdish music, Barış Çakan's father told in front of the cameras "but there was music". During the interview he gave to Demirören News Agency (DHA), Çakan's father Nihat Çakan stated his lost his life due to "the discussion of azan". In the same interview, when the camera made a close-up tha father's dialogue in Kurdish with his relatives were recorded. In this Kurdish dialogue in between the family members, the father is heard saying that "Actually there is a music but I don't know" and the relatives said to the father "avoid propaganda" and prompted him to speak about "azan".

Father: Yes.
