VAN - An investigation was launched against HDP PM Member Hatice Büşra Kuyun, who was abducted and threatened, on grounds of the statement she made afterwards.

An investigation was launched against People's Democratic Party (HDP) Party Assembly (PM) and Youth Executive Board (GYK) member Hatice Büşra Kuyun who was abducted by the police and threatened in Van on May 4, on grounds of the statement she made after she was released by her abductors. The statement of Kuyun was taken within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Van Public Prosecutor's Office with the allegation of “referring the people to hatred and hostility”.

NO INVESTIGATION AGAINST THE ABDUCTORS

Stating that her party filed a criminal complaint to the prosecutor's office about the kidnapping and that they have made a press satetement regarding her abduction, Kuyun stated that no investigation was launched against her abductors even though she gave them a detailed description of them and their licence plate.  Kuyun, stating that an investigation was launched against her despite all these, said: "An investigation was launched against me because I stated that these kinds of things also happened in the 90's and that I know they are doing these to keep the Kurdish youth away from the struggle and that we will keep fighting against it."

Underlining that her abduction was a result of the hate politics of the government, Kuyun said: "My abductors told me they were police officers. They showed me their I.Ds.  They passed through the check point with their police I.Ds. I wasn't taken to the police station, which means I was abducted. If those people who abducted me were actually police, are they operating as a mob or a gang? If they are not, then they pretended to be police officers. Then those who used the name of the police should be found. Those who actually refer the people to hatred and emnity are these paramilitary forces. But they are launching an investigation against me because I did not remain silence against this unlawfulness. Those who abducted me should be prosecuted but I am being prosecuted here for telling about it.

Kuyun told that she will keep fighting against these hate politicies.
