KOCAELİ - Kocaeli Birleşik Metal-İş, metal workers Union, Branch No.1 Chair Selçuk Çiftçi reacted to the fact that the plants in Kocaeli are still working despite the curfew.

 

United Metal Workers Union (Birleşik Metal-İş Union) Kocaeli Branch Np.1 Chair Selçuk Çiftçi said,  "These permits to work for the planst are an indication that the health of the employees is out of consideration."

 

'THE HEALTH OF THE WORKERS ARE NOT TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION'

 

Stating that many plants and endustry facilities in Kocaeli and Gebze are allowed to continue their operations of production, Çiftçi said the bosses of the plants force these decisions. "Bussinesses for non-essential production keeps working", said Çiftçi and raised his reaction by drawing attention to the fact that the health of the workers are not taken into consideration at all.
