Journalist Furkan Karabay arrests

ISTANBUL - Journalist Furkan Karabay arrested due to his virtual media shares and his news. 

Journalist Furkan Karabay was detained in the morning on charges of "insulting the President" and "targeting people who took part in the fight against terrorism" based on a video he made on YouTube and his online media posts. Karabay was referred to Istanbul Courthouse after his statement procedures at the police. After the prosecutor's statement, Karabay was referred to the Criminal Judicature of Peace with the demand of arrest and was arrested.
