Election effect on markets

ANKARA - After Erdoğan won the presidential election, foreign exchange and gold started to rise.
 
After Presidential Alliance candidate Tayyip Erdoğan won the presidential run-off election, the dollar/TL started above the 20 lira level in international markets. The dollar, which closed at 19.96 lira on Friday, raised 20.1630 lira. Euro / TL, which raised 21,4168 liras, is now traded over 21.50 liras.
 
While the gram price of gold started at 1,250 liras for the first transactions, it is currently traded at 1,253 liras.
 
DOLLAR CAN RISE
 
The eyes of the markets turned to the new economy management and the policies to be followed with the disappearance of election uncertainty. Experts state that the upward potential in the dollar will continue.
