NEWS CENTER - While air attacks of Turkey against Maxmur, Shengal and Kandil continues, MSB made a statement and said Turkey is deploying troops in Heftanin. Irak Army Spokesperson Emid Yehya Resul said they have begun working to activate the Defensive Shield System.

 

Turkeys air attacks against Maxmur, Shengal and Kandil continues. According to ROJnews broadcasting from the region, Bradost located in the countryside of Héwler was shelled again. The agency has released footage of the bombardement. It also stated that Xelîfan, Sîrwan and Elekan villages are being hit too.

 

HEFTANIN STATEMENT FROM MSB

 

Turkish Armed Forces carried out airstrikes with warplanes in many areas in the Heftanin region. National Defense Ministry (MSB) made a statement from its twitter account and announced that they have started the operation 'Claw- Tiger' in Heftanin. MSB also mentioned that the operation was supported by ATAK helicopters, UAVs and AUAVs.

 

RIPOSTE FROM IRAQ

 

Iraq Army Spokesperson Emid Yehya Resul also made a written statement regarding the air attacks of Turkey. Stating that 18 Turkish warplanes have crossed the Iraq border, came to Shergat district and demanded Turkey not to repeat it.

 

Stating that Iraq's sovereignity was violated, Resul announced that they have begun working on activating the Defense Shield System.
