VAN – Due to the fire opened by the soldiers in the Kaşkol Neighborhood of Başkale district of Van, a young man lost his life as another person got injured.
As a result of the fire opened by the soldiers, Emrah Görür (20) lost his life in the Kaşkol (Qaşqol) Kaşkol Neighborhood of Başkale district of Van as Saim Yılmaz was heavily injured. Yılmaz was taken to Van Regional Research Hospital for treatment. Görür's deceased body was taken to the morgue in Başkale State Hospital. The body is expected to be brought to Van for an autopsy.
One of the local residents we talked about the incident shared the information that Görür lost his life as a result of the bullet that the soldier fired. Citizen also claimed that Görür was first choked with a scarf and then killed by a gun when he was irrigating the fields and grazing his animals.
It was learned that Görür, who lost his father 3 years ago, was looking after this mother together with his 7 siblings.
