“To the press and public;

For some time now, some circles have been publsihing and commenting on notes allgedely belonging to the talks held on Imrali Island on virtual media. Undoubtedly, the talks between Mr Ocalan and the delegation and especially views of Mr Ocalan on the process of the Call for Peace and Democratic Society rightfully expected and followed by the public. The press and the public are also informed about the talks by the members of the delegation. Documents and information that have been falsified, subjected to speculative and groundless interpretations other than those presented and explained by the delegation should not be relied upon.

We respectfully evaluate all opinions in favour of or against the process as a requrement of a democratic society. However, we would like to inform the public that we consider attitudes that aim to undermine trust based on unrealistic and falsified documents and information as provocative attempts.

Issues concerning social peace involve discussion and negotiation processes that are serious reliable and require a certain level of confidentiality. As the DEM Party and the DEM Party Imrali Delegation, we endeavour to carry out work with this attention and care.

All meetings held on Imrali Island took place with the participation of our delegation. All other allegations do not reflect the truth. In addition, no interview notes of documents other than those announced by our delegation should be relied upon.

We respectfully submit it to the public information.
