The family of the missing Gülistan Doku continues to wait outside the courthouse
DÊRSIM - The family of Gülistan Doku, who are continuing their vigil outside Tunceli Courthouse, have emphasised that they will continue their protest until Gülistan is found and Tuncay Sonel is arrested.
Following the arrest of 13 individuals on 13 April as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Gülistan Doku, a second-year student in the Child Development Department at Munzur University, who went missing in Dêrsim (Tunceli) on 5 January 2020, the Doku family’s vigil outside the Tunceli Courthouse continues.
Whilst four individuals are expected to give statements to the prosecution as part of the investigation, it has been reported that a further four will be brought to the courthouse later today.
The Doku family reiterated their demand for justice. Mother Bedriye Doku expressed her anger towards those implicated in the incident. Bedriye Doku stated that they would not leave the courthouse until her daughter found and the then Governor of Tunceli, Tuncay Soner, arrested.
