The delegation, which included Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır, Peoples’ Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Co-chair Tülay Hatimoğulları, DEM Party Wan MP and Democratic Unity Initiative Spokesperson Gülcan Kaçmaz Sayyiğit, crossed into North and East Syria together with representatives of bar associations and civil society organisations. 

 

The delegation, which crossed into Rojava via the Semalka Border Gate, was welcomed by PYD Co-Chairs Perwîn Yûsif and Xerîb Hiso. 

 

The delegation will hold a series of meetings in Rojava.
