MÊRDÎN - Following a march in Nisêbîn (Nusaybin) district of Mêrdîn (Mardin), many people, including journalists, were detained. 

After a march in the city in solidarity with North and East Syria, the crowd attempted to cross the border. During a police attack at this time, numerous individuals were detained. 
 
Journalists Heval Önkol, Ferhat Akıncı, Pelşin Çetinkay, Muhammet Ali Yılmaz, Kesira Önel, and Barış Demircan were among those detained.
