Botan set off for Amed to historic call of Öcalan

	ŞIRNEX - Botan people set out for Amed, where PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's historic call will be broadcast live on LED screens. Citizens expressed their excitement in their messages. 

	Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party İmralı Delegation will make a statement after its meeting with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Preparations will continue in the cities for Abdullah Öcalan's historic call to be shared with the public in Istanbul.

	 

	Citizens from neighbouring cities have set out to watch Abdullah Öcalan's historic call on the giant led screens set up in Sheikh Said Square. In this context, Peace Mother Hatice Durmuş travelled to Amed (Diyarbakır) from Cizîr (Cizre) district of Şirnex (Şırnak), said that she was looking forward to the message to be given by PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Hatice Durmuş said, "We are going to Amed for the message of Mr Abdullah Öcalan. We want him to be among us. We are looking forward to the message of Mr Abdullah Öcalan. We are very excited. We are hopeful that good messages will come. We are waiting for peace to come."

	 

	Ümit Aşkın said, "Today is a historic day. The desire of the peoples of Turkey is peace. What Mr Abdullah Öcalan says is valuable for us. We are all waiting for his message with excitement. That is why we will go to Amed".

	 

	Among those travelling to Amed are those whose relatives were killed during the curfews in Cizîr, families of prisoners and many others.
