Decision is null and void says Abdullah Zeydan

	WAN - Speaking to MA about the sentence given against him, "This decision is null and void and political," said Wan Metropolitan Municipality Co-mayor Abdullah Zeydan.

	Wan (Van) Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Abdullah Zeydan was sentenced to 3 years and 9 months in prison for "attempting to knowingly and willingly aid a terrorist organization". Abdullah Zeydan evaluated the verdict to Mezopotamya Agency (MA).

	 

	Zeydan said, "Those who could not cope with the people of Wan through democratic means on 31 March have once again collapsed on the will of the people of Wan with judicial conspiracies and judicial traps. In our case, this judgement is null and void and political. Although the testimonies of the soldiers and the expert report were in our favour, the decision was made with political instructions. This decision is an attempt to overthrow the will of 1 million 200 thousand Wan citizens. In the face of this, we will protect democracy, justice and the will of the people until the end."
